There is no restriction on the type of game that a creator can submit, but it is important to remember that it is all about staying true to the indie grassroots. The community votes on the game ideas to be presented at the event. The selected creators explain a $5,000 step that will advance their game, and they will meet people who can help.
It is not enough to have a game idea. You are the one that is pushing it into existence, so be clear about what it takes for the next $5,000 step. Presenting game ideas is only part of the night. The second part is at the reception to find out the winner. Have a beer, discuss game ideas. That part of the night is the reason we organize the event. Please join us!
